અમેરિકન કોર્ટે એપલ આઈફોની ડિઝાઈન કોપી કરવાના મામલામાં સેમસંગ પર રૂ. 3600 કરોડનો દંડ ફટકાર્યો છે. કોર્ટે પેટન્ટ નિયમોનું ઉલ્લંઘનને લઈને અલગથી 34 કરોડ ચૂકવવાનો આદેશ પણ સેમસંગને કર્યો છે. કંપની દંડની આ રકમ એપલને આપશે. ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, 7 વર્ષ પહેલા એપલે આઈફોનની ડિઝાઈન ચોરીનો આરોપ સેમસંગ પર લગાવ્યો હતો. કોર્ટ 2012માં સેમસંગને દોષિત કરાર કરી ચૂકી છે.
